VIDEO REPORT - Panos Kammenos To Announce Party Positions From Distomo

Representing the "Independent Hellenes" movement, Panos Kammenos told TV show host George Papadakis on ANT1's "Kalimera Ellada" morning show on Tuesday that he is going to announce the principles and positions of his party very soon from none other than the historical village of Distomo. Certainly the choice to finally announce his party's platform from the village of Distomo will make a large impact since it is known as the site of the most brutal massacre that was perpetrated by the German Nazi army in Greece during the Second World War and it is the heart of Greece's ongoing claims to German World War II reparations. His party's platform will first be uploaded in facebook. Turning to other issues, Kammenos said that they are forcing Greek people to pay back a loan that at the end of 2009 totaled some 250 billion, while today this debt has almost doubled. "They have doubled the debt, with illegitimate interest (on the bailout loans) together with the "system" they set up (to support this lending)" said Kammenos. He said that the Independent Hellenes movement believes that an independent committee should be set up comprised of experts who are not involved in the political fora and together with the help of lawyers and constitutionalists be allowed to examine the figures and the "conspiracy that was made against our country..." and if there was foul play involved, then a legal framework should be formed all these people should "be punished".
