IMMEDIATE FIRST RESPONSE TO ANTENNA 1 ( GREECE ) BELATED PRESS RELEASE


NEW YORK--The Cyprus Action Network of America (CANA) based in America , which without explanation required is recognized as the number one producer of television and film in the developed world ,is issuing an immediate first response to ANT1 in Greece .

STATUS :
ANT1 in direct response to the Greek Cypriot organizations in Cyprus and diaspora organizations (from London to Australia) and around the world who are protesting the airing by ANT1 of the criminal Turkish television series “Ezel” issued a press release to blogs and newspapers in Greece this Monday.

ANT1 claims that 1.5 million Greeks in Greece viewed this third world production (Ezel) that was illegally filmed in Turkish-occupied Cyprus in Turkish-financed hotels and casinos illegally built on the land of thousands of Greek-Cypriots who were massacred, and thousands of Greek-Cypriot women who were raped by Turks.

The Cyprus Action Network of America (CANA) is convinced that the numbers of viewers claimed by ANT1 for the criminal Turkish series “Ezel” are lies and falsehoods typical of the corrupt Greek government that has bankrupted Greece and made Greece a laughingstock of the world and a beggar with hat in hand, in other words , a third world country. A third world country that becomes the low television production values of ANT1 , a third world country like that backwards barbaric third world country that invaded Cyprus which they promote for their own corrupt personal and political agendas. A third world country led by petty men with deep pockets who lied and faked numbers to get in the Eurozone,and now lie and fake numbers in order to somehow “legitimize” the barbaric crimes that were inflicted on Cyprus beginning on July 20, 1974.
THE FOLLOWING ANALYSIS IS FROM AN AMERICAN IN THE FILM AND TELEVISION BUSINESS IN NEW YORK :

NOTE : The most popular show in American Television history, "Seinfeld" averaged about 12 million viewers in its first few seasons, or relative to the 300 Million + population of theUSA about 4 percent of the population! ANT1 wants us to believe that Ezel even beat this figure with 1.5 million viewers in Greece a country of roughly 11 million Greeks.Basically, Ezel got about 15 percent of the entire country's population , relatively speaking close to 4X the success of the most popular American TV show. Wow! Move over Jerry Seinfeld and make way for Mustapha!!! Ezel must be swamped with offers from all over the USA and Europe --we wonder why the only "developed" country to host it outside Turkey is Greece ??


Move Over Hollywood Television Here Comes.....TURKISH television???

I initially doubted the figure of 1.5 million viewers in Greece for Ezel which ANT1 stated in their pr, it seemed skewed or faked, especially when you consider that a backward third world Islamic country like Turkey cannot sell its television series to anyone in the developed world.

ANT1 would have us believe, Ezel beats the American television series offered on ANT1 which are known and sold to the major television markets of the EU (France, Germany, UK) and Asia (Japan and Hong Kong) .

Either there is something wrong with the numbers ANT released or there is something seriously wrong with 1.5 million Greeks. And if the numbers are wrong then this bad apple must be the political hot potato that may just turn over the cart!

Below are all the American television series contenders Ezel beat out (too unbelievable to be true) in Greece :

True Blood -The second most watched drama show in the history of major American cable television network HBO averaging over 5 million viewers a week...
By the end of 2009, the first season DVD had sold over 1.6 million units and taken in over $57 million. It was the only TV show in the 50 Top-Selling DVDs of 2009
International distribution in all the major markets of the EU (France, Germany , UK ) and Asia ( Japan , Hong Kong ) .
